Sons of Bureaucracy is the second album by industrial sound collage noisician Allied Fracture. It’s an atonal industrial breakcore noise odyssey using found sound, sparse vocals, and heavy breakbeats to tell a story about how we are living through a chaotic transition from the world we Sons of Bureaucracy have known to something new. Sons of Bureaucracy attempts to describe the immediate experience of that transition. Twelve dark, dissonant and danceable tracks, recorded in 2021 in Bloomington, Illinois, portray the immediacy of life today through the lens of the past 60 years. Sounds from 60’s atonal works, 70’s disco, 80’s talk radio, 90’s soundtracks, and 2021 police bodycam audio and local field recordings, syncopated with industrial and hardcore techno rhythms, make Sons of Bureaucracy an intense reflection of the present. It describes how things work great until they stop working at all. The industrial era is collapsing, so you might as well dance - to industrial dance, of course. Get down, find cover, and don’t be afraid. See individual tracks for additional information and art.
