Strange Pilgrim & Sunbathe - Duo EP - BRAND NEW CASSETTE TAPE

"Duo EP" is the fruit of a collaboration between the Portland, OR based indie-rock bands Strange Pilgrim & Sunbathe. Josh Barnhart of Strange Pilgrim and Maggie Morris of Sunbathe have joined forces to rework three songs from each of their catalog into new duo versions - peeling back the layers and reimagining with album tracks with a palette of omnichords, drum machines, synthesizers, and guitars (of course!), all while bringing a newfound sense of discovery to the tracks.

The EP was recorded at home by the duo, mixed by Cory Gray (Old Unconscious, The Delines, Fronjentress) , and mastered by David Glasebrook (Michael Nau, Sugar Candy Mountain, Sandy’s). Royal Oakie Records is proud to release the EP on Cassette/Digital this October 16th as part of Cassette Week 2026.
