The Burgers originated in Beijing, China, and is now based in Glasgow, UK. It is the solo music project of Zac Burger. Kick Fights to Lose is the third studio album from this project, released on May 23, 2025, through Zac Burger’s virtual label, Unsolicited Demos Records.

This album continues The Burgers’ signature use of rhythmic major chords, paired with lyrics that challenge the mainstream narratives of the punk scene.
