After 20+ years with Swayzak I wanted to challenge myself and begin something afresh .....
Post 4/4 I had sold all my gear and started again , new processes and old brain , bought new synths that were odd to say the least . Inspired by my favourites glass , reich , eno , budd , fripp , cabaret voltaire , tg , sakamoto , derbyshire, oram , radigue , and the more modern works of caterina barbieri , kali malone , sam barker . industrial , ambient and deep listening .
The Eightsome Reel - is a Scottish country dance and probably my first interaction on the dancefloor that I recall .
Dungeness - A desert by the sea , nuclear power station and general odd place where shacks stick out of the landscape . Derek jarmans house stands out amongst the flotsam and jetsam . This was my last holiday and after 20 years travel I have beens stuck on the odd musical isle of Britain . The isolation of areas like Dungeness inspired me again !
