Trying to pigeon hole this Moffat Beach outfit is pointless, they write rock songs, they lean into psychedelia, unhinged art-rock and well, doing whatever the fuck the want to. And it absolutely works. Nine brand new killers channeling drug addled Brian Jonestown Massacre, lo-fi Modern Lovers and fuzzy, minimalist Velvet Underground. A complete album for sure, it flows cohesively while crisscrossing genres and yet remains the absolute essence of ELECTRIC PRAWNS 2.
