mewithoutYou returns with their fifth studio album, Ten Stories. Helmed by producer Daniel Smith and mixed by Brad Wood, the album is an allegorical collection of songs that, at first listen, follows a winding narrative about a circus train crash in 19th century Montana. But long-time fans of mewithoutYou will know that when we are immediately introduced to a talking elephant, fox and tiger, there is always more than meets the eye. Ten Stories also finds the band returning to their more aggressive roots at times while still maintaining their affinity for melody.
